On the 13th of October the whole school gathered to break the fast together in an Iftar party. The evening started with a prayer. Then very talented students in Islamic and Koranic studies presented their skills.

The best students were rewarded. Some active parents were invited to hand the prices. Then some members of the board of trustees held speeces on Ramadan. The atmosphere on the roof was warm and the beautiful evening sky gave wonderful frames for the event.
When the sun went down everybody broke the fast together with a delicious snack offered by the school.

The evening ended with a prayer and everybody wished eachother happy ramadan.

Once there lived a man named Ali. He had ten sheep with him. He was a kind-hearted man. One day two men came to him for help. So Ali gave them his sheep. Now he was left nothing, so he prayed to Allah for wealth. When he went to the river for drink, to his surprise he found lots of gold, which made him a rich but cruel man.
Now he had a palace of his own, servants and everything he wanted. One day an old man who knew Ali, met him and told him that his behaviour with the people around him would displease Allah, but Ali did not listen to him and went off sailing on his boat with his boatman. In an accident their boat crashed on an island. After two years when they returned everything had changed. Ali was no more a rich man. He realised his mistakes and repented to Allah.

Once I had been to the forest. I saw many animals and there were many trees in the forest. Trees give shelter to many animals. Forest brings us rain, which is very useful to us. When I went there I was scared to see animals like cheetah, lion and elephant because they are wild animals. I came back without going inside.

Once upon a time there lived a boy named Lewis who was ten years old. His wish was to become a scientist. Many of his teachers wondered how Lewis would be too intelligent. He lived in Sydney, Australia. One day his teacher came home and told his mother, “ I noticed that Lewis has a scientific mind. I want you to send him to a good school were lots of scientific experiments are done.” His mother was happy to hear this but suddenly remembered something. She said sadly, “ I know he is interested in science and I could have done as you said, but I am very poor and cannot do so.” The teacher was also upset when he heard this. He was also not in a position to lend a helping hand to Lewis. But he promised to find a sponsor. He soon found a sponsor and got an opportunity to go to the USA and study. Years passed by and Lewis came back to Australia as a great scientist.

Teacher is a soft hearted dove
With full of love
An encyclopaedia for my brain
Living down that lane
A teacher filled with positive marks
When I’m wrong makes remarks
You are precious as a piece of gold
Whom I never sold
You are bright like the sun
With whom I have lot of fun
Twinkling like a beautiful star
Up in the sky (school) so far
You are like my mother
Who tells me I’m wrong, and I’m right
She is none but my teacher.

Intelligent people around,
No matter what happens around,
Victorious they always are,
Energetic they always are,
Nobody can steal their thoughts,
Thoughts that are always intelligent,
Intelligent people around.
Oh! That’s what it is
Newton, Boyle and Charles!

S…S…said the snake
I’ll eat you for god’s sake
What I’m telling is not fake
When I come in front of you, you will shake
Then I’ll bake you and make a cake
Once you are in me your bones will break.

We love fox
They wear a red socks
They are obviously smaller than an ox
They live in caves of rocks
They hunt for cocks
Like monkeys they mock
This is the life of a fox.

As Cindrella was born, her mother
Saw her ugliness and died
As the human ling grew up, she
Had to be fired
The father saw this and married a goose
And then he went loose
And as he had two children
He had to go cater pillaring
The two children went fat
And had to sleep upon a mat
And then one day the prince announced the news
But Cindrella was refused
After that the fairy godmother came
She went by, giving her sugarcane
Then she became beautiful
Everyone told that she was wonderful
The fairy godmother gave her a warning
That she should reach before morning
Then Cindrella gets married to the prince
And lives happily ever since
